THE UNIQUE FOCUS
is in utilizing materials with high figure and book matching wood in
creating pieces that add beauty to any floor or furniture. We utilize
the varying colors and character markings such as streaks, knots and
grain patterns of authentic wood to provide the beauty in the natural
variations of color and grain to give each piece its own individual
charm and character. Particular attention is given to the major
characteristics of wood that provide a basis for decorative qualities
in wood: color, luster, grain, and figure. Figured wood is the most
desirable, the least understood, and the most complex growth
characteristic of wood. Figure is any design, pattern, or
distinctive marking that appears consistently or intermittently on
longitudinal surfaces of the wood. You will notice the attention
provided to the grain (spiral, interlocked, curly, and fiddleback
figure) or alignment of wood elements in relation to the longitudinal
axis of the wood in our products. |
CUSTOM DESIGNS that

Medallions are most
often constructed in sizes: 30”, 36”, 42”, 48”, or 56”. Other custom
sizes are available. Prices for various size medallions depend on the
